About Mabel Pines

Mabel Pines is one of the lead fictional characters in the Disney Channel animated series, alongside her twin brother, Dipper Pines. She made her first appearance in 2012, in the Tourist Trapped episode; her last appearance was in 2016 in the “Weirdmageddon 3: Take Back The Falls”.

She is 12 years old and energetic; her bubbly personality contrasts with her brother’s sombre, serious nature in the series. Mabel Pines is upbeat and goes through situations with a smile; she loves to wear colorful sweaters and skirts. The creators of Gravity Falls initially intended her to be some form of comic relief, but she occasionally helped solve some tricky cases with her brother.

She lived at her great uncle’s (Stan) place with her brother after their parent left them off for summer vacation. Kristen Schaal voiced her character throughout the series, and she got two spin-off shorts: Mabel’s Guide to Life and Mabel’s Scrapbook.

About Mabel Pines Costume – How do you dress like Mabel Pines?

Mabel Pines Costume is simple yet colorful, with a minimal number of items. The costume’s main component is the pink sweater; she prefers a sweatshirt with a shooting star graphics inscription on it, but you can achieve the look with any long-sleeved blouse with a shooting star graphics display on it.

Her long brown hair is also a prominent part of the costume; it’s a plus if you have long, curly, brown hair, but you can easily snag up a brown curly wig if you don’t have one. Mabel always had white socks on when outdoors, so it is pertinent to include them in the costume.

Furthermore, you would need a light purple skirt to go with Mabel Pines sweatshirt and black ballet flat shoes. These bring Mabel Pines costumes together nicely. If you would like to go further, you could throw in a pink headband to hold the hair in place, away from your face.
